Recipe for Rajma ke Shami Kabab




Rajma ke Shami Kabab:

Serves 4-5
Ingredients:
Rajma (Kidney Beans) - 2 Cups
Chane (Gram) ki daal - 1/2 cup
Garlic Paste - 1 full garlic medium size
Gram flour - 1 tbsp (roasted)
Boiled potatoes - 2 medium size
Asafetida  - 2 pinch
Green chilies- 3-4 Chopped
Coriander - 1Tbsp chopped
red Chili powder -1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - to fry
Method: 
Soak Rajma 6-7 hours and then add salt to it and pressure cook/ boil them till they are tender. Boil chane ki dal as well. Mash rajma, 1/2 the quantity of pulses and potatoes. Now add garlic paste, gram flour, asafetida and red chili powder and divide the mixture into 7-8 equal parts to make kabab.
Now add green chilies, coriander leaves and salt to the other half of the dal.. Divide them into 8-9 equal parts and now fill this in the rajma mix. Give them the shape of kabab and shallow fry them in pan.
